My Story
Originally from Cardiff in the UK, I loved to write from an early age – I had my first pen pal by the age of 12 years old.
After nearly 20 years in various office roles in London I called it quits and relocated to Asia in 2017, spending three years living in Singapore.
That same year I launched Where You’re Between, a travel website consisting of detailed destination guides and in-depth itineraries.
Where You’re Between marries up my two loves of travel and writing and was born out of my own extensive travels across the globe over the past 15 years.
In that time I have been fortunate to travel far and wide, taking in countries as diverse as Iceland, Bhutan and North Korea.
In 2020 I also began working as a freelance writer after moving to Japan.
When I’m not writing I’m either watching sumo, exploring the incredible city of Tokyo or planning my next trip to some other wonderful corner of Japan.
